We love to wear a shaper slip under formalwear, or under form-fitting dresses. Have you ever tried one? 

One advantage they have is that the built-in bra offers a smoother silhouette - fewer unslightly band lines. That's a cool advantage right there.

Another reason we love them is for their hourglass-shaping.  We gals have great curves for a reason, right?  So let's show them off, like they're meant to be!  This one gives you nice breast support in the bra, some waist cinching effect, and a powerful tummy panel.

Fit notes:

• If you've never worn a shaper slip, you might be surprised. It's tight, but that's by design.  It hugs your waist tightly, on purpose.  It's doing its job as "shapewear".  Your first reaction might be, "It's too small", but slip on your dress. You'll see how it works.
  
• It is easiest to put on if you step into it, vs pulling over your head.
  
• We find that it runs true-to-size.
  
• They are meant to be ordered by your usual bra size.  No underwire, but don't worry; there's plenty of support. 
  
• To be honest, you may be disappointed if your shape includes an unusually large waist in proportion to your bra size.  We can't recommend this garment if that is your figure type.  But if your belly is simply a little on the large size, as they can get from pregnancy, this slip should be fine.  We want you to be happy and minimize your need for a return.
  

Our pictures don't really do it full justice (sorry no modeled one available in white).  We tried to snap a couple of the fabric to give an indication of the beauty. You'll have to use or imagination... or buy one and see for yourself!

When you think "slip", you may go back to the wispy nylon ones.  Not this one. The powernet and satin are substantial.  It weighs nearly a pound, which you will notice in the postage cost.  It's a serious, and very well-made garment.  We love it and we think you will too!
